Testing and marking of firearms

The conditions for carrying out activities

First registered company in the competent commercial court

Second sufficient number of employees carrying out tests and the marking of firearms, including:

– Technical Director, engineers mechanical engineering, with knowledge of English or German or French language and experience in manufacturing or servicing of firearms or certificate of completion of vocational training or work experience in one of the institutes (institutions) for examination and marking of firearms recognized by the Permanent international Commission of Inquiry into light weapons – Commission Internationale Permanente d’Epreuve des Armes Portatives (hereinafter referred to as CIP)

– Mechanical engineering professionals (engineers, technicians and skilled workers) with experience in manufacturing or servicing of firearms or certificate of completion of vocational training or work experience in one of the institutes (institutions) for examination and marking of firearms recognized by the CIP

Third in terms of technical standardization and implementation of testing and marking of firearms, organization must be formed in accordance with the regulations of the CIP, and must have in place a quality control system

4th interrogation rooms and marking of firearms, facilities for test firing ammunition equipped with suitable stoppers fired bullets (shot) ammunition, as well as devices for ventilation and noise protection

Fifth appropriate equipment, tools and instruments needed to perform the tests and the marking of firearms, a minimum: accept for different types of weapons, instruments for the implementation of control dimensions, measuring hardness, recording instruments cracks, devices and tools for engraving and stamping and devices for measuring pressure

6th general act shall prescribe measures to protect data (guidance notes and archives, retention of documents, protection of internal digital records, data on the laboratory cooperation and exchanged data) and methods of implementation of these measures and must ensure professional confidentiality and security of business cooperation

7th all employees authorized legal person directly performing tests and engraving firearms must:

– Be at least 21 years of age (may exceptionally be 18 years if they are qualified for the title of Master – shooters) have no prior criminal record against them are not allowed to procedures for certain criminal offenses and misdemeanors, and not the existence of other circumstances indicating that guns could be misused

– Be medically fit to possess and carry weapons

– Have evidence that has technical knowledge and skill to use the weapons and to know the regulations pertaining to the possession and carrying of weapons

There is no application form, but the party itself is compiled. With the application:

Second proof of employment of a sufficient number of employees for conducting tests

  1. Evidence of organizational structure in accordance with the regulations of the CIP and the established quality control system
  2. proof of possession of a testing and marking of firearms, facilities for test firing ammunition equipped with suitable stoppers fired bullets (shot) ammunition, as well as devices for ventilation and protection from noise.
  3. Proof of possession of adequate equipment, instruments and tools needed to conduct the tests and the marking of firearms
  4. Proof of measures to protect data
