FREEDOM TO PROVIDE CROSS-BORDER SERVICES<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>If you are already established in another EU\/EEA country, you as a natural and legal person have freedom to provide services on an occasional and temporary basis without the obligation to register the establishment in Croatia or becoming a member of the professional chamber, and without waiting for a prior check.<\/p>\n<p>In that case, an online declaration or the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hkie.hr\/obrasci-i-potvrde\/evidencija-povremeno-privremeno\">declaration<\/a> is sent directly to the competent authority at <a href=\"mailto:elektroinzenjeri@hkie.hr\">elektroinzenjeri@hkie.hr<\/a>, or through the system <a href=\"https:\/\/egradani.hkie.hr\/\">e-Gra\u0111ani<\/a>, along with the following photocopied and translated documents:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>a copy of ID card<\/li>\n<li>proof of establishment in another EU\/EEA country (employer&#8217;s statement)<\/li>\n<li>proof that they are permitted to perform the tasks of design and\/or expert supervision, as well as that there is no ban on the performance of business activities in the country of establishment (certificate of the competent authority from the country of establishment or EU certificate)<\/li>\n<li>proof of performing the business activity for at least one year out of 10 previous years if the profession is not regulated in the country of establishment or if the education and professional training leading to that profession are not regulated<\/li>\n<li>proof of educational\/professional qualification<\/li>\n<li>data on professional liability insurance valid in the territory of the Republic of Croatia, or the EU<\/li>\n<li>proof of fee payment<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In case of annual renewal of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hkie.hr\/obrasci-i-potvrde\/evidencija-povremeno-privremeno\">declaration<\/a>, the applicant must enclose:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>data on professional liability insurance valid in the territory of the Republic of Croatia, or the EU<\/li>\n<li>proof of fee payment<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>It is not necessary to report to the Chamber to perform tasks of a site engineer and\/or works manager and project manager of the electrical engineering profession.<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Second option<\/u><\/strong><strong> &#8211; FREEDOM TO ESTABLISH<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>If you are already established in another EU\/EEA country, you as a natural or legal person have freedom to provide services on a permanent basis, provided that you register an establishment and submit the following documentation, along with the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hkie.hr\/obrasci-i-potvrde\/imenik-stranih-ovlastenih-inzenjera-elektrotehnike\">request<\/a> at <a href=\"mailto:elektroinzenjeri@hkie.hr\">elektroinzenjeri@hkie.hr<\/a> or through the <a href=\"https:\/\/egradani.hkie.hr\/\">e-Gra\u0111ani<\/a> system:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>decision of the Croatian Chamber of Electrical Engineers on the recognition of professional qualifications<\/li>\n<li>proof that the person uses the Croatian language and the Latin script<\/li>\n<li>proof of the registration fee payment<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Recognition of qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/api.hkie.hr\/storage\/media\/public\/obrasci-i-potvrde\/imenici\/imenik-strani-ovlasteni\/zahtjev-priznavanje-kvalifikacija.pdf\">Request for recognition of qualifications<\/a> is submitted at <a href=\"mailto:elektroinzenjeri@hkie.hr\">elektroinzenjeri@hkie.hr<\/a> or through the <a href=\"https:\/\/egradani.hkie.hr\/\">e-Gra\u0111ani<\/a> system, along with the following photocopied and translated documentation, according to the general system:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>a copy of an ID card<\/li>\n<li>proof of completed formal education or proof of formal qualification<\/li>\n<li>diploma\/certificate and diploma supplement\/certificate supplement<\/li>\n<li>proof of authorization to perform the regulated profession of electrical engineering in the country you come from<\/li>\n<li>employer&#8217;s certificate on professional work experience in the country of establishment in a duration of at least one year out of 10 years prior to the year of service provision, if the profession is not regulated in the country of establishment of the foreign professional<\/li>\n<li>a certificate by the EU\/EEA country that has recognized the professional qualification of a foreign professional as a third-country citizen, with proof from the employer that they have three years of professional experience in the regulated profession<\/li>\n<li>decision of a competent authority or a copy of a marriage certificate (only for persons who have changed their name and\/or surname),<\/li>\n<li>proof of fee payment<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Fees<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>EUR 200.00 for occasional and temporary work &#8211;
