{"id":121,"date":"2017-02-17T10:39:02","date_gmt":"2017-02-17T09:39:02","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/psc.hr\/en\/?page_id=121"},"modified":"2025-03-13T13:32:44","modified_gmt":"2025-03-13T12:32:44","slug":"private-detectives","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/psc.hr\/en\/private-detectives\/","title":{"rendered":"Private detectives"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1><strong><u>First option<\/u><\/strong><strong> &#8211; CROSS-BORDER FREEDOM TO PROVIDE SERVICES<\/strong><\/h1>\n<p>If you have already registered an establishment in another EU\/EEA country, you have the freedom to provide services on a temporary and occasional basis, without an obligation to register an establishment in Croatia.<\/p>\n<p>In that case, you need to send an e-statement directly to the competent authority to <a href=\"mailto:pitanja@mup.hr\">pitanja@mup.hr<\/a> with a photograph or a scan of the following data or documents (signed but not stamped):<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>proof of registration of an establishment in another EU\/EEA country and proof that there is no prohibition of professional activity at the time the certificate is issued<\/li>\n<li>proof of professional qualifications<\/li>\n<li>proof that the person has worked as a private detective for at least one year within the past 10 years (only if the profession, vocational training and professional development are not regulated in the Member State of the establishment).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h1><strong><u>Second option<\/u><\/strong><strong> &#8211; FREEDOM OF ESTABLISHMENT<\/strong><\/h1>\n<p>In case you have a registered establishment in another EU\/EEA country, you are allowed to provide services as a natural person on a permanent basis if you register the establishment and submit the following documents:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>proof of qualifications (at least a degree of stru\u010dni pristupnik (professional title obtained upon finishing the professional study normally lasting less than three years and awarding less than 180 ECTS credits) or professional bachelor)<\/li>\n<li>evidence on passed examination of professional competence for private detectives<\/li>\n<li>evidence on authorisation for performing the activities of private detective issued by a competent authority in the other EU\/EEA country<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<h2><strong>Recognition of qualification<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Application for the recognition of qualification is submitted to \u00a0<a href=\"mailto:pitanja@mup.hr\">pitanja@mup.h<\/a>r with the edition of sending documentation as with the registration of establishment.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h2><strong>Fees<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>None<\/p>\n<div class=\"featuredBlock\">\n<p>First option: <a href=\"https:\/\/edetektivi.mup.hr\/\">e-service<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Second option<a href=\"mailto:pitanja@mup.hr\">pitanja@mup.hr<\/a> (for sending photographed or scanned documentation; signed but not stamped)<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<hr \/>\n<h2><strong>Competent authority and regulations<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/mup.gov.hr\/en\">Ministry of Interior affairs<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Ulica Grada Vukovara 33, 10 000 Zagreb<\/p>\n<p>+385 1 6122 111<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"mailto:pitanja@mup.hr\">pitanja@mup.hr<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Private Detectives Act (OG <a href=\"https:\/\/narodne-novine.nn.hr\/clanci\/sluzbeni\/2009_02_24_528.html\">24\/09<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/narodne-novine.nn.hr\/clanci\/sluzbeni\/2022_10_114_1702.html\">114\/22<\/a>)<\/p>\n<p>Ordinance on the conditions, manner and program of serving internship and taking the examination for a private detective (OG <a href=\"http:\/\/narodne-novine.nn.hr\/clanci\/sluzbeni\/2010_03_37_948.html\">37\/10<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/narodne-novine.nn.hr\/clanci\/sluzbeni\/2013_08_104_2337.html\">104\/13<\/a>)<\/p>\n<p>Ordinance on spatial and technical conditions for business premises in which detective activity is carried out (OG <a href=\"http:\/\/narodne-novine.nn.hr\/clanci\/sluzbeni\/2010_03_37_949.html\">37\/10<\/a>)<\/p>\n<p>Ordinance on the manner of collecting data and the content and manner of keeping the database (OG <a href=\"http:\/\/narodne-novine.nn.hr\/clanci\/sluzbeni\/2011_10_121_2415.html\">121\/11<\/a>)<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h2><strong>Authorisation<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Decision on the authorisation to carry out the activities of a private detective<\/p>\n<p>Deadline: 30 days<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h2><strong>Legal remedies<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Possibility of initiating an administrative dispute before the administrative court within 30 days from the day of the delivery of the decision<\/p>\n<p>Last updated on 18 September 2024<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>First option &#8211; CROSS-BORDER FREEDOM TO PROVIDE SERVICES If you have already registered an establishment in another EU\/EEA country, you have the freedom to provide services on a temporary and occasional basis, without an obligation to register an establishment in Croatia.
