{"id":196,"date":"2017-02-17T11:26:44","date_gmt":"2017-02-17T10:26:44","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/psc.hr\/en\/?page_id=196"},"modified":"2025-02-20T14:26:57","modified_gmt":"2025-02-20T13:26:57","slug":"travel-agencies","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/psc.hr\/en\/travel-agencies\/","title":{"rendered":"Travel agencies"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1 style=\"text-align: left\"><strong><u>The first option<\/u><\/strong><strong> &#8211;<\/strong> <strong>FREEDOM TO PROVIDE CROSS-BORDER SERVICES<\/strong><\/h1>\n<p>If you are established in another EU\/EEA country, you are allowed the freedom to provide services on an occasional and temporary basis, without the obligation of establishment in Croatia, mandatory membership in professional body and without a prior check.<\/p>\n<p>An online declaration is sent at pravni@mints.hr, along with a photo or a scan of the following documents (signed, without a stamp):<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>proof of registration of establishment in another EU\/EEA country<\/li>\n<li>proof of qualification<\/li>\n<li>statement on the frequency and number of days of service in Croatia in the previous year (when renewing the application every year)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h1 style=\"text-align: left\"><strong><u>The second option<\/u><\/strong><strong> &#8211; FREEDOM TO ESTABLISH<\/strong><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/h1>\n<p>If you are established in EU\/EEA country, you as physical or legal person, have freedom to provide services on a permanent basis in Croatia, if you register an establishment in Croatia and submit the following documents i.e. fulfil the following conditions:<\/p>\n<p>a notification of the commencement of the provision of the travel agency&#8217;s services should be accompanied by information on<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>business entity, OIB and the headquarters of the travel agency<\/li>\n<li>address of each business premise in which services are provided<\/li>\n<li>the office manager (must provide evidence of eligibility for the manager)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Conditions for the office manager of the travel agency:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>a citizen of Croatia, the EU\/EEA or Switzerland<\/li>\n<li>at least completed high school education<\/li>\n<li>certification exam<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<h2><strong>Fees<\/strong><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>None<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h2><strong>Application<\/strong><\/h2>\n<div class=\"featuredBlock\">\n<p>First option: <a href=\"https:\/\/gov.hr\/hr\/portal-eturizam\/2473\">e-service<\/a> (for EU\/EEA citizens)<\/p>\n<p>Second option: <a href=\"mailto:pravni@mints.hr\">pravni@mints.hr<\/a> (for sending photographed or scanned documentation; with signature and without stamp)<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/appl.mint.hr\/upisnik-turistickih-agencija\/obrazac-obavijest-o-upisu-turisticke-agencije\/17\">Notice of commencement of travel agency services<\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/appl.mint.hr\/upisnik-turistickih-agencija\/obrazac-obavijest-o-promjeni-podataka-turisticke-agencije\/18\">Change of travel agency service data<\/a><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<hr \/>\n<h2><strong>Competent authority and regulations<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/mint.gov.hr\/kontakti-11427\/11427\">Ministry of Tourism and Sport<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Prisavlje 14, 10 000 Zagreb<\/p>\n<p>+385 1 6161 243<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"mailto:pravni@mints.hr\">pravni@mints.hr<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Act on the Provision of Services in Tourism <a href=\"https:\/\/mint.gov.hr\/UserDocsImages\/2021_dokumenti\/211202_ZoPUUT.pdf\">(OG 130\/17, 25\/19, 98\/19, 42\/20 and 70\/21 &#8211; consolidated text)<\/a><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h2><strong>Authorization<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Entry in the Central Registry for Hospitality and Tourism Services of the Ministry of Tourism and Sports, based on the notification.<\/p>\n<p>Until the Central Registry is established, the list of tourist agencies, i.e. premises in which tourist agencies operate, as well as the data contained in notifications, shall be published on the website of the <a href=\"https:\/\/appl.mint.hr\/upisnik-turistickih-agencija\/popis-turistickih-agencija-od-1-1-2018\/8\">Ministry<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Last updated on 25 September 2024<\/p>\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The first option &#8211; FREEDOM TO PROVIDE CROSS-BORDER SERVICES If you are established in another EU\/EEA country, you are allowed the freedom to provide services on an occasional and temporary basis, without the obligation of establishment in Croatia, mandatory membership in professional body and without a prior check.
