{"id":2118,"date":"2023-01-04T10:39:56","date_gmt":"2023-01-04T09:39:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/psc.hr\/en\/?page_id=2118"},"modified":"2024-11-06T14:12:37","modified_gmt":"2024-11-06T13:12:37","slug":"funeral-services","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/psc.hr\/en\/funeral-services\/","title":{"rendered":"Funeral services"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1 style=\"text-align: left\"><strong><u>First option<\/u><\/strong><strong> \u2013 FREEDOM TO PROVIDE CROSS-BORDER SERVICES<\/strong><\/h1>\n<p>If you are already established in any EU\/EEA state, you are free to provide cross-border services on a temporary and occasional basis, without obligation to register in Croatia.<\/p>\n<p>In this case, it is necessary to send an e-declaration directly by email to the <a href=\"https:\/\/portor.gov.hr\/?lang=en\">competent administrative authority in a county<\/a>, along with the copy of the following documents (scanned or photographed):<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>proof of registration in another EU\/EEA state<\/li>\n<li>proof that there is no prohibition to provide the service.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h1 style=\"text-align: left\"><strong><u>Second option<\/u><\/strong><strong> \u2013 FREEDOM OF ESTABLISHMENT<\/strong><\/h1>\n<p>If you are already established in any EU\/EEA state, you are free to provide services as a natural or legal person, on a permanent basis in Croatia, provided that you register your company and submit the following documents:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>completed <a href=\"https:\/\/portor.gov.hr\/index.php\/obrasci\/\">form<\/a> (unless the application is submitted by means of the <a href=\"https:\/\/e-obrt.gov.hr\/\">e-Obrt<\/a> (e-Craft))<\/li>\n<li>proof of qualifications (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.hok.hr\/cehovi-i-sekcije\/ispit-za-pogrebnike\">professional competence exam<\/a> (exam fee EUR 199.08) in addition to a certificate on completion of three-year vocational school<\/li>\n<li>proof of meeting special health requirements if regulated by law<\/li>\n<li>proof of the right to use premises<\/li>\n<li>decision on meeting the minimum technical, sanitary and other requirements of premises and equipment to provide funeral services<\/li>\n<li>copy of your travel document, registration of residence in the Republic of Croatia or copy of your ID provided that you have permanent residence in the Republic of Croatia (for foreigners)<\/li>\n<li>contractual liability insurance covering general liability for damages that could be caused to the clients or third parties in the process of provision of funeral services.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<h2><strong>Fees<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Exam fee EUR 199.08<\/p>\n<p>Payments are made by means of online banking<\/p>\n<p>Beneficiary:<\/p>\n<p>Beneficiary\u2019s IBAN:<\/p>\n<p>SWIFT (for payments from abroad):<\/p>\n<p>Payment reference number:<\/p>\n<p>Remittance info: name and surname (of the applicant) \u2013 professional competence exam<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h2><strong>Application<\/strong><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Email addresses of <a href=\"https:\/\/portor.gov.hr\/?lang=en\">competent administrative authorities in counties<\/a> (for sending photographed or scanned documents; signed and without seal)<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h2><strong>Competent authority and regulations<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Ministry of Economy<\/p>\n<p>Ulica grada Vukovarska 78, 10 000 Zagreb<\/p>\n<p>+385 1 6106 120<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"mailto:poduzetnistvoiobrt@mingor.hr\">poduzetnistvoiobrt@mingor.hr<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Funeral Services Act (NN <a href=\"https:\/\/narodne-novine.nn.hr\/clanci\/sluzbeni\/2015_03_36_732.html\">36\/15<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/narodne-novine.nn.hr\/clanci\/sluzbeni\/2019_10_98_1964.html\">98\/19<\/a>)<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h2><strong>Authorisations<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Decision on meeting the requirements for provision of funeral services<\/p>\n<p>Decision on meeting the minimum technical, sanitary and other requirements of premises and equipment to provide funeral services<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h2><strong>Legal remedies<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>There is the possibility of an appeal within <strong>15 days<\/strong> to the <a href=\"https:\/\/portor.gov.hr\/?lang=en\">competent administrative authority in a county<\/a>.
