{"id":2407,"date":"2023-07-05T11:26:00","date_gmt":"2023-07-05T09:26:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/psc.hr\/en\/?page_id=2407"},"modified":"2024-11-05T13:00:47","modified_gmt":"2024-11-05T12:00:47","slug":"mining-engineer","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/psc.hr\/en\/mining-engineer\/","title":{"rendered":"Mining engineer"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1 style=\"text-align: left\"><strong><u>First option<\/u><\/strong><strong>: FREEDOM TO PROVIDE CROSS-BORDER SERVICES<\/strong><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/h1>\n<p>If you are established in EU\/EEA country, you have freedom to provide services on temporary and occasional basis, without obligation of establishment in Croatia and without a prior check.<\/p>\n<p>In such a case an online declaration is sent in the mentioned case directly to the competent authority at <a href=\"mailto:pisarnica@mingo.hr\">pisarnica@mingo.hr<\/a> and\/or <a href=\"mailto:rudarstvo@mingo.hr\">rudarstvo@mingo.hr<\/a>, along with a photo or a scan of the following documents (signed, without a stamp):<strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>proof of establishment in EU\/EEA country,<\/li>\n<li>proof that there is no ban on provision of the service,<\/li>\n<li>proof of provision the service for at least 2 out of 10 previous years,<\/li>\n<li>proof of professional qualifications.<strong><br \/>\n<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>A foreign mining company would be able to provide temporary services in Croatia using his own engineers\/employees to perform those activities (without their foreign professional qualifications being subject to a prior check).<\/p>\n<p>It is not necessary to register with the Mining Sector for the temporary\/temporary provision of services, unless such provision of services includes that a natural person is appointed as the responsible person for the performance of mining works on the exploration and exploitation of mineral resources through his employer, a mining economic entity.<\/p>\n<h1 style=\"text-align: left\"><strong><u>Second option<\/u><\/strong><strong>: FREEDOM TO ESTABLISH<\/strong><\/h1>\n<p>If you are established in EU\/EEA country, you as a physical or legal person have freedom to provide services on a permanent basis in Croatia, if you register an establishment in Croatia and submit is required documentation the same as in the recognition of a qualification in the field of mining (mining engineer).<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h2><strong>Recognition of the qualification &#8211; MINING ENGINEER<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>The request for recognition of a qualification in the field of mining (mining engineer) is submitted to <a href=\"mailto:pisarnica@mingo.hr\">pisarnica@mingo.hr<\/a> and\/or <a href=\"mailto:rudarstvo@mingo.hr\">rudarstvo@mingo.hr<\/a>, and the following documentation is submitted according to the general system:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>a) proof of citizenship (other EU\/EEA countries),<\/li>\n<li>b) proof of formal education (which is proven by a diploma, certificate or other public document issued by the competent educational institution),<\/li>\n<li>c) supplementary document on formal education, which shows the educational program (subjects, classes, exercises, lectures),<\/li>\n<li>d) proof of acquired work experience in appropriate jobs and its duration,<\/li>\n<li>e) proof of professional qualification (taking a professional exam, obtaining approval for independent work from the competent professional chamber after meeting all prescribed conditions, etc.) if applicable,<\/li>\n<li>f) a certificate from the home country confirming that the candidate is not prohibited from practicing the profession at the time the certificate is issued, if applicable.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Evidence from points b) and c) shall be submitted in a certified copy and a certified translation into Croatian. The translation into Croatian is certified by an authorized permanent court interpreter for the foreign language in which the document was issued.<\/p>\n<p>It is not necessary to register with the Mining Sector for a business establishment, unless such provision of services includes that a natural person is appointed as the responsible person for the performance of mining works on the exploration and exploitation of mineral resources through his employer, a mining business entity.<\/p>\n<p>A natural person, a mining engineer is free to provide services in the Republic of Croatia, without having to contact the competent authority. If he provides services that are regulated for citizens of the Republic of Croatia (responsible person for mining works or etc.), then his employer appears and proves that he (natural person) meets all the conditions met by citizens of the Republic of Croatia.<\/p>\n<p>Taking into account the professional qualification of a mining engineer, the holder of the professional qualification can perform all jobs that do not require a professional exam in mining in the Republic of Croatia.
