{"id":39,"date":"2017-02-16T15:21:37","date_gmt":"2017-02-16T14:21:37","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/psc.hr\/en\/?page_id=39"},"modified":"2021-04-26T18:35:34","modified_gmt":"2021-04-26T16:35:34","slug":"free-movement-goods","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/psc.hr\/en\/free-movement-goods\/","title":{"rendered":"Free movement of goods"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"content_center\">\n<div class=\"three_quarter right_col\">\n<div class=\"body-text\">\n<p>If goods are imported to Croatia from other EEA countries, they will be exempted from customs duties.<\/p>\n<p>In Croatia, as in the entire internal market of the EU, a unified <a href=\"http:\/\/ec.europa.eu\/enterprise\/policies\/single-market-goods\/cemarking\/index_en.htm\">CE marking<\/a> (on European conformity) for technical products is applied.<\/p>\n<p>European Union has <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mingo.hr\/page\/kategorija\/harmonizirani-proizvodi\">rules for products<\/a>. There are national rules applied to certain products (so called non-harmonised regulations) which in each Member State differ considering technical requirements before they are placed on the market. Those national rules must be <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mingo.hr\/page\/kategorija\/notifikacija-neharmoniziranih-propisa\">notified<\/a> at the EU level prior to their announcement, in order to prevent barriers to free movement of goods.<\/p>\n<p>Products which are not covered by <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mingo.hr\/page\/kategorija\/eu-direktive\">EU technical legislation<\/a> are mutually recognised.<\/p>\n<p>The safety control of products before they are placed on the market has been improved.
