Conditions for entry into the Directory of Chartered Geodetic Engineers

  • that they have successfully completed the undergraduate and graduate university studies or the integrated undergraduate and graduate university studies, and obtained the academic title of the Master of Science in Geodesy if having acquired no less than 300 ECTS points during the entire university term of studies, or that he/she has obtained the adequate professional degree in any other manner prescribed by a special regulation
  • that upon completion of the graduate university study, they have successfully completed the procedure prescribed by the Chamber for trainees-candidates to be registered in the Directory of Chartered Geodetic Engineers, lasting no less than two years, or that he/she was employed for not less than three years performing professional state survey and real property cadastre tasks at the City of Zagreb body responsible for state survey and the real property cadastre
  • that they have passed or been recognised the professional exam in accordance with this Act
  • that they have not been convicted of criminal offences against official position, criminal offences against public order, or criminal offences against the Republic of Croatia.

 Documents required for Croatian citizens:

  1. Application for entry into the Directory of Chartered Geodetic Engineers (personally signed on stipulated form)
  2. Proof that they successfully completed the undergraduate and graduate university studies or the integrated undergraduate and graduate university studies, and obtained the academic title of the Master of Science in Geodesy if having acquired no less than 300 ECTS points during the entire university term of studies, or that they obtained the adequate professional degree in geodesy in any other manner prescribed by a special regulation
  3. Proof that, upon completion of the graduate university study, they successfully completed the procedure prescribed by the Chamber for trainees-candidates to be registered in the Directory of Chartered Geodetic Engineers, lasting no less than two years, or that they were employed for no less than three years performing professional state survey and real property cadastre operations at the state administration body or the City of Zagreb body responsible for state survey and real property cadastre. (The applicant will also be recognised the time spent working under the supervision of a chartered geodetic engineer prior to 1 January 2010. This is proved by presenting a Work Log under the supervision of a chartered geodetic engineer (on the form the Chamber provides on its website).
  4. Certificate of the professional exam passed or recognised
  5. Proof that they have not been convicted of criminal offences against official position, criminal offences against public order, or criminal offences against the Republic of Croatia
  6. Proof of entry fee of HRK 2000.00 paid
  7. Administrative fee HRK 70.00
  8. Two photographs (personal ID format)
  9. Proof of the company’s registration (Decision on company entry in the Court Register with a list of activities)
  10. Certificate by the Croatian Pension Insurance Fund on legal work status (not older than 6 months)
  11. Certificate of the Croatian Pension Insurance Fund on working and legal status of the mentor – enclosed only when a Work Log under the supervision of a chartered geodetic engineer is enclosed

Conditions for entry in the records of professional associates and associates of chartered geodetic engineers

  • that the relevant degree of geodetic professional studies has been obtained
  • that the person is employed in offices or legal entities registered for performing professional geodetic operations and not employed for performing professional geodetic operations by any other employer

Documents required for Croatian citizens:

  1. Application for entry in the Records of expert associates and associates of chartered geodetic engineers (stipulated form verified by the employer)
  2. Certificate that the expert associate or associate has passed or been recognised the professional exam (if taken)
  3. Hand-signed consent of the expert associate or associate for lodging an application for entry in the Records of expert associates and associates of chartered geodetic engineers
  4. Two photographs (personal ID format)
  5. Proof of acquired relevant education degree (copy of the diploma or certificate of completed studies)
  6. Certificate by the Croatian Pension Insurance Fund on legal work status (not older than 6 months)
  7. Proof of entry fee of HRK 100 + VAT paid
  8. Administrative fee HRK 70.00
  9. Proof of the company’s registration (Decision on company entry in the Court Register with a list of activities

E-prodedure

  • The form is filled in and personally signed
  • The form is sent electronically to the email address of the procedural body in charge (Croatian Chamber of Chartered Geodetic Engineers – hereinafter: CCCGE) together with all the necessary documents and confirmation of e-payment of fees – all in scanned PDF format
  • If the documents are sent electronically, there is no obligation of sending them by post or in person
  • Decision on being recorded in the Chartered Geodetic Engineers Register may be obtained electronically at the request of the procedural body in charge (CCCGE). The same is obtained subsequently by post. The deadline is 30 days after the request filed regularly.

The decision on being entered in the Records on Expert Associates and Associates to

  • Chartered Geodetic Engineers may be obtained electronically at the request of the procedural body in charge CCCGE). The same is obtained subsequently by post. The deadline is 30 days after the request filed regularly.
  • Decision on being recorded in the trainee-candidates records for registration into the Chartered Geodetic Engineers Register may be obtained electronically at the request of the procedural body in charge (CCCGE). The same is obtained subsequently by post. The deadline is 30 days after the request filed regularly.
  • Decision on the termination of trainee status may be obtained electronically at the request of the procedural body in charge (CCCGE). The same is obtained subsequently by post. The deadline is 30 days after the request filed regularly.
  • Decision on concluding the trainee status may be obtained electronically at the request of the procedural body in charge (CCCGE). The same is obtained subsequently by post. The deadline is 30 days after the request filed regularly.
  • Decision on the request to change the data in the records on trainee-candidates, change of company and (or) mentors can be obtained by e-mail at the request of the relevant procedural body (CCCGE). The same is obtained subsequently by post. The deadline is 30 days after the request filed regularly.
  • Decision on being recorded in the Chartered Geodetic Engineers Office Register may be obtained electronically at the request of the procedural body in charge (CCCGE). The same is obtained subsequently by post. The deadline is 15 days after the request filed regularly.
  • Decision on being recorded in the Joint Geodetic Engineers Office Register may be obtained electronically at the request of the procedural body in charge (CCCGE). The same is obtained subsequently by post. The deadline is 15 days after the request filed regularly.
