An online declaration is sent in the mentioned case to the Point of Single Contact or directly to the competent authority at veterinarstvo@mps.hr, along with a photo or a scan of the following documents (signed, without a stamp):

On the basis of complete and valid documentation, the Ministry shall, within 30 days from the day of submitting the statement, issue a decision approving the occasional or temporary performance of veterinary activities.
The Ministry submits the decision to the Chamber, which issues a temporary permit based on it. A veterinarian who is a citizen of a Member State of the European Union and who wishes to perform temporary or occasional veterinary activities in the Republic of Croatia must have a temporary permit from the Croatian Veterinary Chamber. The Chamber issues a temporary permit automatically, based on a decision of the Ministry approving the occasional or temporary performance of veterinary activities in the Republic of Croatia.
The temporary license is issued for a period of one year, with the date of receipt of the decision and the time required for registration and issuance does not in any way delay the start of services.
The Ministry will issue a decision within 30 days of receiving the necessary documentation.
If it is not possible to make a decision, the Ministry will inform the veterinarian about the postponement of the decision and request additional information or supplementation of the documentation stating the reasons for the postponement.
In case of delay, the Ministry shall issue a decision within 30 days of receipt of the amended documentation.
In case the Ministry does not act in accordance with the deadlines, the request of the veterinarian will be considered accepted. The veterinarian has the right to request that the Ministry issue a decision establishing that his request has been adopted. The Ministry is obliged to issue such a decision within eight days from the day of requesting the veterinarian.
The veterinarian has no right to appeal against the decision, but may initiate an administrative dispute with one of the Administrative Courts of the Republic of Croatia.
