Permanent court evaluator

Requirements

Physical entities meeting the following requirements can be appointed permanent court evaluators:

  • They are nationals of the Republic of Croatia, nationals of EU member countries, or nationals of a country party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area
  • They have spent minimally 10 years following graduation from high school working on jobs in the line of profession they were educated for or were self-employed, or they have spent minimally 10 years independently running a family household and dealing with agriculture/farming or forestry
  • They are medically competent to perform the activities of permanent court evaluator

 

Permanent court evaluators must not fail to meet any of the requirements stipulated for civil servants.

 

Documents to be submitted

  1. Application to be appointed permanent court evaluator
  2. Résumé
  3. Certificate of citizenship
  4. Certificate/diploma in a particular line of profession
  5. Certificate that the Applicant has spent minimally 10 years following graduation from high school working on jobs in the line of profession they were educated for or were self-employed, or that they have spent minimally 10 years independently running a family household and dealing with agriculture/farming or forestry
  6. Certificate of no pending criminal procedure against the Applicant issued by the competent court
  7. Certificate on medical fitness to perform court evaluator activities issued by a physician – specialist in occupational medicine

 

Fee

Court fee of HRK 70.00

Decision on Permanent Court Evaluator Appointment

 

Legal remedies

The Candidate can appeal against a decision declining permanent court interpreter appointment to the County or Commercial Court that issued such decision within 15 days after the service thereof. The Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Croatia shall resolve the appeal.
