Recovery, checking for leakage, installation and maintenance or servicing of units and equipment that contain controlled substances or fluorinated greenhouse gases or rely on them

First option: FREEDOM TO PROVIDE CROSS-BORDER SERVICES

If you are established in EU/EEA country, you have freedom to provide services on temporary and occasional basis, without obligation of establishment in Croatia and without a prior check. The following conditions must be fulfilled, which are the same as for the Freedom to establish option. An online declaration is sent in the mentioned case directly to the competent authority at pisarnica@mingor.hr, along with a photo or a scan of the following documents (signed, without a stamp):

  • a copy of the certificate of passing the professional exam for employees who handle controlled substances and fluorinated greenhouse gases
  • evidence of possessing a device for recovering controlled substances and/or fluorinated greenhouse gases
  • electronic employment record or confirmation of work experience for employed persons

Second option: FREEDOM TO ESTABLISH

If you are established in EU/EEA country, you as a physical or legal person have freedom to provide services on a permanent basis in Croatia, if you register an establishment in Croatia and submit the following documents, i.e. fulfil the following conditions:

  • a legal or natural person – craftsman is registered for the performance of activities of servicing of units and equipment,
  • has one or more employee with necessary professional qualifications (authorized persons) for handling controlled substances and/or fluorinated greenhouse gases
  • has equipment for recovering controlled substances and/or fluorinated greenhouse gases.

Submit a photo or a scan of the following documents (signed, without a stamp) on pisarnica@mingor.hr:

  • a copy of the certificate of passing the professional exam for employees who handle controlled substances and fluorinated greenhouse gases
  • evidence of possessing a device for recovering controlled substances and/or fluorinated greenhouse gases
  • electronic employment record or confirmation of work experience for employed persons

If EU/EEA nationals do not provide the required documents, a competent authority will check their data via the Internal Market Information System (IMI).

Decision granting a license to perform the activity of collecting, leaking, installing and servicing devices and equipment that contain or depend on controlled substances or fluorinated greenhouse gases.
